What we collect, and what we do not. In plain words, because a policy you cannot read is not a policy.

Last updated 5 September 2026.

The short version

The tools run inside your browser. The spreadsheets, PDFs and images you open in them are processed on your own computer and are never uploaded to us. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking.

We hold your email address in exactly two situations: you emailed us, or you bought something.

Your files

Every tool on this site reads your file locally, in the browser tab, and writes the result back to your machine. Nothing is sent to a server, because for most of these tools there is no server to send it to — they are static pages.

This is not only a promise. All eight tools carry an automated test that fails their build if any networking code appears in them at all, so a change that started uploading your data could not ship — it would stop at the build rather than reaching you.

What we do collect

WhenWhatWhere it goes
You send the support form Your email address, the subject, your message, and which tool you named Emailed to our support inbox. There is no ticket database — the mailbox is the only copy.
You buy a licence Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe processes the payment and sends you a receipt. We receive a record that the purchase happened and which tool it was for.
After you buy Your email address Used once, to email you your licence key, sent via Resend. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
Any visit Standard web-server request logs — IP address, browser, page requested Kept by our host, Vercel, as part of serving the site. We do not add analytics of our own on top.

Please do not paste your data into the support form. The tools work in your browser precisely so your files never reach us, and that form is the one place that would undo it. Describe the problem instead — how many rows, which columns, what the file came out of.

Your browser's storage

When you buy a tool, your licence key is saved in your browser's local storage so the tool stays unlocked on that device. That is on your computer, not ours. Clearing your browser data removes it — which is why the key is also emailed to you, so you can restore it or move to another machine.

We do not use cookies to track you. We do not use advertising or analytics scripts of any kind.

Who else is involved

Each of these sees only what it needs to do that job. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else, and there is nothing to sell — we do not build a profile of you.

How long we keep things

Support emails stay in the support mailbox so we can follow up and so we can see whether a problem is recurring. Purchase records are kept by Stripe for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us and we will delete what we hold and tell you what that was.

Asking us about your data

Email support@gearyforge.com and ask. You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. A person reads every message and you will get a reply.

If you bought something, Stripe holds the payment record independently of us; we will tell you what to ask them for.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. An automated check runs against this page and the tools it describes, so a claim here that stops being true fails that check rather than quietly staying on the page.
