Blockform groups and totals spreadsheet data entirely inside this browser tab. This page sets out exactly what that means for the data you paste in.
There is no upload step and no endpoint that accepts your data. Blockform has no file picker at all — you paste rows in, and the parsing, grouping, totalling and writing of the .xlsx file are all done by JavaScript running on your own device. Your data is never transmitted to a server, because there is no server for it to reach.
Blockform does not ask you to sign up or log in, and it has no database. There is nothing to associate what you paste with a person, because nothing about you is recorded in the first place. Close the tab and the pasted data is gone.
The site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts, and it sets no cookies. The single thing written to local storage is the licence token, and only after a purchase or a pasted key. Nothing about which columns you grouped by, how many rows you pasted, or what the numbers were is measured or kept anywhere.
The .xlsx file is assembled in memory and handed to your browser's ordinary download mechanism. It goes wherever your browser saves files and nowhere else. Blockform keeps no copy of it and has no way to retrieve one later, so anything you need to keep should be saved when it is offered.
Every download is a complete .xlsx file. The free file ends with one extra footer row naming Blockform, and a one-time purchase removes that row. The licence token is kept in this browser and nowhere else. Payment is handled by Stripe on Stripe's own pages, so pasted data and card details never reach Blockform.
If you contact support, you choose what to include in that message and it is handled by email in the ordinary way. Please do not paste commercial or personal data into a support request — a description of what went wrong is almost always enough, and Blockform cannot see your data from its side in any case.
